WHO WE ARE
The YMCA is a cause-driven organization focused on three key areas: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We believe a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, health, and neighbors. Our programs, services, and initiatives enable youth to realize their potential, offer families ways to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind, and body, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster social responsibility. The Moultrie Y strives daily to be the lead provider of Fitness, Family, and Fun for ALL.
OUR MISSION
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Nurturing the potential of every child and teen.
The values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life. At the Y, children and teens learn values and positive behaviors, and can explore their unique talents and interests, helping them realize their potential.
FOR HEALTHY LIVING
Improving our community’s health and well-being.
Being healthy is about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind, and body. At the Y you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself with new activities, fostering connections with neighbors, or joining family-centered activities.
FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Giving back and providing support to our neighbors.
The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of hundreds of volunteers and public and private donors that we are able to support and give back to our communities.

The 3-year-old classroom is also located at the Pineland Y, along with a commercial teaching kitchen that hosts our Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in partnership with the Walmart Foundation to provide over 200 meals each school day to children in Y after-school programs like 21st Century and PRIMETIME. PRIMETIME is an after-school program held at every elementary school in Colquitt County. The Pineland Y basketball gym is a full-court facility used for basketball and houses our Inflatable Fun Park. There are also multiple fields for soccer and flag football at the Pineland campus.
The Downtown Y is located at 9 1st Street SE and is a 24/7 facility. The Moultrie Y started in a small building in downtown Moultrie in 1916 and after 107 years, the Y returned to the heart of downtown. This location is just one more way our Y is working to serve ALL by breaking down the barriers of time constraints and accessibility. The Downtown Y also has a Group Exercise studio and often leads classes on the courthouse lawn under the beautiful magnolia trees. In August of 2021 the Doerun 24/7 Y opened and includes cardio equipment, free weights, a Freedom trainer and recumbent bikes.
